I have always loved to draw and create playful pictures and stories. Studying at De Montfort University I gained a BA 1st in Graphic Design, designing, illustrating and hand making my own picture books. My degree show caught the attention of Next, who recruited me as a Trainee Designer in their Home department where I designed children's bedding, home accessories and gifting ranges. Working in-house, the constant challenge of drawing new characters and ideas, while overseeing my designs through every stage of production process provided a fascinating introduction into the design industry.

To further pursue my love for illustration, I later returned to study at University College Falmouth gaining a Masters in Authorial Illustration, while completing a number of freelance projects for Next. Throughout my MA I focused on drawing and character development for children’s picture books.

I now live in Sheffield and work full time as a freelance illustrator and designer for clients all over the world. I am commissioned by companies, suppliers and individuals to create illustrations for greeting and gifting ranges, picture books, toys, puzzles and a variety of children's merchandise. I also create original, personalised artwork for individuals.
